Due to the heavy duty machines that these heat pads are made with it can be quite common that they pick up an odd scratch to the surface, we have tried to limit this from happening as much as possible by covering the metal work with a protective film, the film remains in place until the end user choose to remove it or not, the heat pad surface is generally not marked it is simply the film and if you choose to remove the film it will be mark free.
